Cute graphics but we need more than graphics - we need details that are being hidden from us about the truth. I for one do not want to pay for abortions through my medical insurance and I don't want to withhold care for my elderly parents so they will die sooner and save money! Please be informed before deciding this is a perfect plan - talk to people who have been through this already in Canada - its very scary. As educated people we need to make sure we know what's in this plan and not believe everything we hear. Page 425 of the medical reform act scares me! If this plan is so perfect why is there so much outlash from members of the American Medial Association who are mostly physicians?? BE INFORMED! There are ways to accomplish a better system without going into socialized medicine - I have children with no health insurance so I have a vested interest in this.

I am interested in the sustainability initiative! Perhaps we can also buy biodegradable products for our events (paper plates, potato based plastic silverware) and purchase local/organic/seasonal. I think we should put scrap paper in the PODS too! Maybe we could have a carpooling program. I know a lot of students carpool already, but we've had to talk amongst ourselves and organize. Also, we don't know if some of the 2nd years might live close by!

Just some quick ideas. :)
