It’s Prologue Week and your librarians were ready!

Thanks to the Class of  2013 for being such a fun and fast-learning group. We had great fun and hope the session was (and will be) helpful to you, too!  Our brown bag sessions are being planned and you will hear about them soon.  Plan to join us in the library on the 2nd floor of Building 1!

In summary, our goals were to enable you to:

  1. Describe elements of a 21st Century Library (friendly helpful librarians + lots of e-resources)
  2. List 2 or 3 services or staff members of the AHSL-Phoenix (Lindsey, Jacque, Kathleen)
  3. Employ the UA and ASU libraries and the library websites as the first steps in successfully searching the literature (ahsl.arizona.edu and lib.asu.edu)LGPrologue2
  4. Review the key resources of the AHSL (Pubmed, OVID, Stat!Ref, Dynamed, and more…)
  5. Demonstrate the ability to use AHSL databases, in addition to Google Scholar (you did that!)
  6. Employ a healthy skepticism about the quality and validity of all information (we know you will)
